QDRO and probate matters are handled throughout New York by phone, email and mail. You are not driving to Albany unless you want to.
How an engagement works
A conversation
Tell me what you are trying to accomplish. Most first calls take fifteen or twenty minutes and end with a clear recommendation and a number.
A written engagement
You receive a retainer agreement stating the flat fee and exactly what it covers. Nothing begins until you have signed it and it is paid.
The work
Drafts for your review, revisions until they are right, and execution handled properly, including witnesses, notary and filings, carried through to completion.
